Terms and Conditions of Service

Please read these terms and conditions before making any booking any transfer or tour. They contain crucial information about your rights and obligations. By clicking on the “submit” button at the bottom of the booking form, you agree to be legally bound by them. This is because we may modify them from time to time. When we do that, we will post them on our website. Whether a client books by phone, email or fax, he/she client accepts our booking terms and conditions. You can find them on our website or, on request, by email, fax or phone.

Limitations of Liability

The Santorini Transport and its partners will not be responsible for any delays due to

  • weather, road, or traffic jams
  • mechanical failure
  • or any other conditions beyond our control

Any extra costs arising as a result of delayed departure or arrival times, including missed flights or travel connections, are the sole responsibility of the client.

Travel Insurance

We have fully insured our vehicles for passenger and third party claims. The Greek law requires this of course. However, whilst we take every care, we carry the clients’ property at their own risk. Hence we do not accept any blame for loss or damage. As a result we advise our clients to check their own travel insurance.

General Conditions

Where two or more people are included on the same booking, the person purchasing the booking shall be deemed to have done. So on the basis that he/she acts as an agent for both or all members of the party and accepts these booking conditions on behalf of each member of the party.

Payment and Booking Conditions

No request submitted by the passenger shall be deemed to be accepted by Santorini Transport unless and until we confirm this. We can confirm by writing email, phone or by an authorized employ of the provider.

We have the right to ask for a deposit or full payment in advance to book a transfer.

The Greek law does not allow travelers to take onto any vehicle drugs or alcoholic drinks for consumption them on the vehicle.

Passenger Safety

We reserve the right to make any changes in the specification of the services. In some cases we might need to conform with any applicable safety or other statutory or regulatory requirements.

We always book through licensed operators. But it is the passengers obligation to check that the vehicle provided is fully insured for passenger and third party claims. The Greek law requires this too. Also, whilst we take every care, we carry the customers’ property at the clients’ own risk. Thus we are not responsible for any loss or damage however caused.

Smoking Conditions

The Greek law does not allow smoking in any licensed for transfer vehicle.

Performance

Operators will do their best to ensure that their vehicle(s) arrive on time and reach their destination on time. Time is not of the essence in any booking. In particular pick up times for departures are subject to a 10 minute window. Although we will do our utmost to help if due to circumstances beyond our control we are unable to meet you, it is still your responsibility to attempt to make alternative plans to ensure that you catch your return flight or ferry.

Legal Statement

By using the Site, you accept and agree to abide by all terms and conditions herein. You should not use this Site if you do not accept and agree. This Site is available only for your own use. In particular it is limited to viewing the Site and providing info to us. You can also use it to download data for your personal use and for purchasing products. Visitors assume all responsibility and risk with regard to using this Site. Also, and, in no case, we are not liable for damages of any kind resulting from buyer(s) use of the Site.
