Terms and Conditions of Service
Please read these terms and conditions carefully before making any booking as they contain important information about your rights and obligations. By clicking on the “submit” button at the bottom of the booking form, you agree to be legally bound by them as they may be modified from time to time, and posted on our website. Whether the booking is made by telephone, email or fax, it is subject to, and the client accepts, GREEK TRANSFER’S booking terms and conditions. These are available on our websites or, on request, by email, fax or phone.
Limitations of Liability
The Santorini Transport and its affiliates will not be responsible for delays caused by weather, road, or traffic conditions; mechanical failure; or any other conditions beyond our control. Any expenses arising as a result of delayed departure or arrival times, including missed flights or travel connections, are the sole responsibility of the passenger.
Vehicles are fully insured for passenger and third party claims, as required under local law. However, whilst every care is always taken, customers’ property is carried entirely at their own risk and no responsibility can be accepted for loss or damage. Customers are therefore advised to check their own travel insurance.
Where two or more people are included on the same booking, the person purchasing the booking shall be deemed to have done so on the basis that he/she acts as an agent for both or all members of the party and accepts these booking conditions on behalf of each member of the party.
Payment and Booking Conditions
No reservation submitted by the passenger shall be deemed to be accepted by SantoriniTransport.com unless and until confirmed in writing by email telephone or otherwise by an authorized representative of the provider.
All payments are made in cash.
We are not able to carry passenger(s) to any other destinations, other than Tourist Board registered properties or facilities, unless it has been specifically agreed, in writing, with the company at the time of booking.
Under Greek Law passengers are not allowed to take onto any vehicle any drugs or alcoholic drinks for the purpose of consuming them, or to consume such on any vehicle.
The Santorini Transport reserves the right to make any changes in the specification of the services which are required to conform with any applicable safety or other statutory or regulatory requirements or, where the services are to be supplied to the company ‘s specification, which do not materially affect their performance.
Although we always book through licensed operators. It is the passengers obligation to check that the vehicle provided is fully insured for passenger and third party claims, as required under Greek law. Also, whilst every care is always taken, customers’ property is carried entirely at their own risk and no responsibility can be accepted for any loss or damage however caused.
Under Greek Law Smoking is not permitted in any licensed transportation vehicles.
Operators will use every reasonable means to ensure that their vehicle(s) arrive on time and reach their destination on time. Time is not of the essence in any booking. In particular pick up times for departures back to the airport are normally subject to a 10 minute window. Although we will do our utmost to help if due to circumstances beyond our control we are unable to meet you. It is still your responsibility to attempt to make alternative arrangements in order to ensure that you catch your return flight.
By using the Site, you specifically accept and agree to abide by all terms and conditions herein. You should not use this Site if you do not accept and agree. This Site is available only for your personal use, which is limited to viewing the Site, providing information to us, and downloading information for your personal use and for purchasing products. Visitors assume all responsibility and risk with regard to using this Site and, in no case, shall The Santorini Transport be liable for damages of any kind resulting from buyer(s) use of the Site.
